Chapter 1
After a long journey, he finally stood in front of the Red Forest. His mission was to find out why the Red Forest had become so cruel, killing all plants and animals for almost half a year. But first he needs to find the hut of the previous forester who disappeared recently.
Huge trees at the entrance have deteriorated into small trees, and signs on them indicate the way to the gate that protects the forester's hut.
The trees are taller and thicker again, and the gate signs getting smaller meaning the gate is already close. The gate looked like an arch of small branches of trees, which were not bound together by anything, but still strong and indestructible. The space behind the gate was hidden by the fog, and so it should be, so the protection is still working here.
He enters the gate. When the protective fog had cleared up, he saw a dilapidated hut standing on the shore of a huge dry lake. It shouldn't be like that, a dry lake can't protect you at night from of a hostile forest. But something caught his attention, something shiny, right there in the middle of the lake in the mud.
